LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services said Tuesday it has awarded more than $4 million to Arkansas Community Colleges to support work-based training programs.
The money is provided through the agency’s Arkansas Sector Partnership initiative, which is supported by a U.S. Department of Labor grant. It will fund training programs in advanced manufacturing, health care, information technology and the skilled construction trades at the following schools:
