Entergy New Orleans drives economic development along key growth corridors

Posted May 19, 2026 in Economic Development

Entergy New Orleans continues to support economic growth across the region by helping position the city as a competitive destination for business investment, industrial expansion and job creation.

Working alongside regional and state partners, Entergy is focused on strengthening infrastructure and supporting development opportunities that enhance long-term economic competitiveness. One key area of opportunity is the I-510 Corridor in New Orleans East, which offers access to port infrastructure, rail connectivity and major interstate systems.

The corridor has emerged as a strategic location for logistics, distribution and industrial development as companies increasingly prioritize supply chain access and site readiness when evaluating expansion opportunities.

Entergy New Orleans supports these efforts through infrastructure investment and collaboration with economic development organizations working to attract new business and capital investment to the region.

As New Orleans continues to grow, Entergy remains committed to supporting projects and partnerships that help strengthen the regional economy and create opportunity for local communities.

To learn more about economic development opportunities along the I-510 Corridor, listen to a recent interview of Kea Sherman, Entergy New Orleans’ VP of economic development and customer service on The Newell Normand Show. Listen to the full interview here.
