Two prime industrial sites in Stuttgart, Arkansas, have earned Select Site certification through Entergy Arkansas—marking a major milestone for the community and a big opportunity for growing businesses.
Located in the Stuttgart Industrial Park on U.S. Highway 79, these certified sites—spanning 154-acre and 62-acre sites—are now officially shovel-ready. That means faster timelines, lower risk and fewer surprises for companies looking to build or expand in Arkansas.
The Select Site program ensures certified locations meet standards for infrastructure, due diligence and permitting. The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce and Stuttgart Industrial Development Corporation worked closely with Entergy Arkansas to complete the process, supported by state and federal grants that expanded water and sewer infrastructure to the park.
“Certifying a site is no small task—and certifying two is even more impressive,” said Danny Games, Entergy Arkansas Vice President of Business and Economic Development. “This achievement puts Stuttgart in a strong position to compete for high-value projects.”
Stuttgart now joins other certified Select Site communities Little Rock, Russellville and West Memphis. Recent Select Sites across Arkansas include Amazon, Owens Corning and Tractor Supply Co.
