Entergy Louisiana and HYUNDAI‑POSCO Louisiana Steel on April 30 finalized an electric service agreement to power a new $5.8 billion low‑carbon steel mill in Donaldsonville, La., expected to create approximately 1,300 direct jobs and support more than 5,400 total jobs in the region.

The mill—Hyundai Motor Group’s first North American integrated steel facility—will advance sustainable manufacturing and strengthen the U.S. auto supply chain.
